Softly Folded Silver Leaf Earrings
These silver leaf earrings have soft, deep folds and a light gray patina. The folds in the silver are created by folding the metal with a special tool - in this case I used an antique fabric crimper/pleater! The way light and shadow accentuate the folds is wonderful. The gray patina was created with heat and it gives an almost distressed or aged look to the surface. The leaves have been sealed with a clear coat to preserve the patina.
These earrings are made with argentium sterling silver, which is 93.5% fine silver, tarnish resistant, and produced using recycled silver, sustainable labor and environmentally conscious processes.
