Zag

$950.00

I call this sculptural wire vessel Zag because of the zig-zag color pattern. It was woven with the traditional soumak basketry technique. The vessel is capped with a wonderfully textured piece of copper that has been corrugate and formed.

The metal used to create this vessel is flat colored aluminum wire, flat copper wire, and copper sheet. All the copper is natural finish, and will slowly darken over time. It has already developed a warmer patina since these photos were taken.

This vessel is signed with my initials "SLS" and the year completed.

Size: 4 1/8" dia. x 2 3/8" h
