Gold Solstice Star Ornament
This is the Gold Solstice Star. The design was inspired by images of the winter solstice sky. There is also a Silver Solstice Star, which is listed separately in the shop, if still available.
This beautiful wire star is crocheted with wire. It looks delicate and lovely hanging in a window or on a tree. Remember - no two stars are alike! (Since these are crocheted by hand - each one has minor variations.) A thin silver string is attached for hanging. Each ornament comes in a box which can also be used to store it.
Each year, since 2012, I have created an original limited edition wire crochet ornament. Solstice Star is the 2020 design. I make each design only during the year in which I design them - and when they're gone, they're gone!
Size: approx. 4" diameter by approx. 2" deep. (some are a touch bigger, some a touch smaller)
Materials: gold colored silver-plated wire with tarnish resistant coating, silver embroidery thread
